VEX Robotics Competition Partner of the Year Award, 2012-2013

Today, AFSCME Local 1902 was honored with the award "Partner of the Year 2012-2013" from the VEX Robotics Competition.

The VEX Robotics Competition is the largest and fastest growing middle and high school robotics program globally with 6,500+ teams from 25+ countries playing in 300+ tournaments worldwide.  The program is designed to inspire and integrate science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education by engaging students in friendly competition and teamwork, all the while teaching STEM concepts and life skills.  This amazing program helps nuture a new generation of scientists- and engineers-to-be, and we are all the more excited in participating in their endeavours.
